Thanks to COVID this year’s egg hunt will be a lot different. The event will be very scaled down and will simply be a hunt for eggs. I thought it was really important to try and give the Easter holiday some normality. The event will be at a private residence (1320 Prairie Rd
Colorado Springs, CO 80909). This will be an outdoor event!
By the title of the blog, you can see the event will require a reservation. You can contact me, Sharon Starkey, at srstarkey1@juno.com or reply in the discussion part of our event on Facebook. I will need to know how many are in your party and I will assign you a time. We have enough slots and supplies for 75 families.
Precautions will be put in place for this event:
This is a reservation event! Families will be assigned a time to attend.
The event will be outdoors with room to spread apart.
There will be no more than 5 families attending at any time. Time slots are assigned at 15-minute intervals.
Upon arrival you will sign in.
Egg hunters will be required to wipe hands with non-alcoholic wipes and be given a non-latex glove to wear on their dominant hand.
Masks should be worn when possible (but not required).
All candies are free of nuts, dairy and gluten.
What to expect at the egg hunt:
1. Sign in at registration table and receive the page of eggs to find.
2. Wipe hands and get gloves.
3. Start hunting eggs. You will find one of each symbol for a total of 12 eggs.
4. Once you have found your 12 eggs, stop by the exit table. You will get a parting gift and can give back your plastic eggs to recycle for next year.
So, bring your baskets and let’s have some fun! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
